Investment Banking Life Sciences Vice President

Our client is a leading mid-market investment bank specialising in mergers and acquisitions advisory services for a range of industries. The team are looking to recruit within their life sciences team, and have successfully executed numerous transactions across the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and CRO/CDMO spaces. They are now looking for an experienced M&A Investment Banking Vice President to join their team and help drive their continued success.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of M&A transactions from start to finish, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation
• Manage client relationships, including presenting analysis and recommendations to senior management and boards of directors
• Collaborate with other members of the deal team, including Associates and Analysts, to ensure high-quality work product and efficient deal execution
• Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new client opportunities
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in the life sciences sector

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of M&A lead advisory experience, ideally in the life sciences sector
• Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex financial analysis to senior stakeholders
• Experience managing client relationships and leading deal teams
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Interest in the life sciences sector is important; experience is preferred, but not a pre-requisite
• Ideal candidate will come from M&A boutiques, mid-market investment banks, or top accounting firms
